Puzzle Porch

A friendly place to pause.

Puzzle Porch is a collection of eight small activities for families and anyone who enjoys a relaxed puzzle. The controls are readable, the rules are explained and there is no timer to beat.

How puzzles are made

Games are generated by ordinary code in your browser. Sudoku puzzles are checked to have one solution. Bingo draws use shuffled numbers without repeats. Word searches list only words placed in the grid.

The daily starting puzzle uses the London calendar date. Choosing New puzzle changes the puzzle for this visit. No account is needed and there is no public leaderboard or chat.

Accessibility

Larger text is available on every page. Controls can be reached using a keyboard and most games give text feedback. Word searches and sudoku are visual grid activities; a standard screen reader may not make them as convenient as the text-based maths and word games.
